Colonel Robert Hammond's Regiment of Foote of The Cittie of London Brigade would like to thank all members of the Sealed Knot that journeyed to the 3rd Anniversary March at Naseby in the heart of beautiful Northamptonshire. We attended the church service in the morning, and laid a wreath in the church yard. We then went on to fire the first musket volleys over Sulby Hedge in 364 years! (Image courtesy of Pete Ellis) The afternoon saw us mark the anniversary of the battle with a short service lead by Lord Generall Richard Boyce and the Reverend Stinson who gave us a great sermon whilst standing at The Cromwell Memorial in the centre of the battlefield. Members of Prince Ruperts Blewcoats also laid a wreath at Dust Hill where their regiment made a stand in 1645 to cover the retreat of the King.

Hammond's wish to thank everyone that came to the event, especially those that made long journeys just to attend. All we can say is - just wait for 2010! We aim to build this event up and attract more members, working closely with the villagers to mark this important date.

A HUGE THANK YOU TO EVERYONE

THAT ATTENDED THIS EVENT!
